Contemporary Art in Genoa: our Showroom in Via Barabino
What began as a “work in progress” project is now a well-established reality in the heart of Genoa. Our studio on Via Barabino has completed its transformation, becoming a vibrant hub dedicated to contemporary art in Genoa.
We are no longer just a design showroom, but an exhibition space where the dialogue between exquisite finishes and artistic exploration comes to life. We have opened our doors to a continuous program of exhibitions and events, becoming an essential meeting place for collectors, creatives, and curious visitors who wish to experience modern art in a setting that breaks away from traditional gallery conventions.
Artistic Events
We believe that art should be a complete sensory experience, involving not only visual appreciation but also a sense of community. For this reason, the Atelier offers not only its indoor spaces but also an exclusive outdoor area.

Our Artists
Jackson Villamizar
Sculptor
Born on 10 November 1983 in Colombia, a country of many facets, where natural beauty intertwines with many social challenges. At just 3 years old, Jackson and his family made the decision to move to Italy, in search of a better and safer future. Growing up in Italy, Jackson embraced the culture of his new country. During his teenage years, he discovered a keen curiosity for the world of art, and his passion expanded as he experimented with different techniques such as drawing, ceramics, and music. At the age of 35, Jackson, together with his brothers Luis, Leonardo and Saverio, founded “Between Art & Design”, a company that quickly gained recognition for designing and renovating high-end apartments. In his role as administrator, Jackson learned various aspects of the business, applying his artistic vision in a practical and tangible context.
Angela Rossella
Painter
Angela Rossella was born in Corteolona, in the province of Pavia, on 12 December 1955, into a family of farmers. Passionate about literature, Latin and science, she studied at the classical high school in Pavia and began studying medicine, which she then left to devote herself to her family and raise her three children.
Far from the modern consumerist spirit, Angela has always cultivated the art of recycling, handed down from her origins: from decoupage to upholstery, from sewing to making preserves. Over the years, she has transformed her home into a creative workshop, reinventing discarded objects with colours and artistic inspirations reminiscent of Keith Haring, Mondrian and Banksy. In 2019, during the pandemic, she created her first real work of art, giving shape to a spontaneous and authentic form of expression. Today, encouraged by her husband and children, her creations are finally on public display as a symbol of artistic freedom and a life lived with curiosity, sensitivity and passion.
Roberto Molinelli
Sculptor
Roberto Molinelli was born in Genoa in 1961. After attending art school, he embarked on a career as a decorator and set designer in the tourism sector, where he developed a keen eye for materials and visual composition.
In 1986, he moved to Rome, where he began collaborating with ZED S.F.X., a company specialising in special effects, creating installations and objects for cinema, advertising and theatre. From 1989 onwards, he combined this experience with that of prop master, participating in the staging of numerous Italian television productions, films and dramas.
After leaving the world of special effects, Molinelli devoted himself continuously to his work as a prop master and, at the same time, to sculpture, his great passion, which he cultivated in the Roman workshop where he lived and worked. His works reflect a sensitivity to materials and a formal research that has matured over the years, the result of experiences spanning art and craftsmanship. He has taken part in several solo and group exhibitions; the most recent saw him as the protagonist at the Turin pavilion of the Venice Art Biennale, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.
