Rosso Ferro project is a distinctive example of renovation of commercial spaces in Milan, where contemporary design and quality materials blend harmoniously. Located in Pessano con Bornago, Civico 3 is designed as a modern wine bar and café, where wine and conviviality take centre stage. The choice of uniform microcement cladding allows the space to be visually enlarged and creates continuity between the walls, floors and counter. Corten effect finish, with its warm, slightly oxidised tones, gives the bar character, emphasising the industrial and welcoming atmosphere. The use of continuous surfaces simplifies maintenance and ensures durability, while the textured materials add depth and dynamism to the environment.
Industrial Design & Modern Comfort
Every detail of the project has been designed to enhance the convivial function of the venue. The bar counter becomes the focal point, while niches and shelves add practicality without weighing down the space. The lighting is calibrated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with light effects that emphasise the textures of the microcement and Corten steel surfaces. This modern, functional and coherent venue is capable of surprising customers with the right balance between aesthetics and comfort. Rosso Ferro demonstrates how a commercial renovation in Milan can transform a small space into a landmark for conviviality and design, enhancing every architectural and material detail, respecting proportions and optimising usability. The project confirms the importance of designing each environment to measure, combining aesthetics, functionality and durability in a single immersive experience.
