Sobriety and elegance

In the large bathroom, a plasterboard ceiling was created in order to have a better balance in the proportion of space and also to allow the insertion of spotlights in the ceiling for effective but discreet lighting. The washbasin was made to measure and so was the cabinet underneath, both covered, like the entire bathroom, in the same colour.

Bathroom and kitchen renovation

The common denominator, as can be seen at first glance, is undoubtedly the colour chosen for the micro-cement: the sand-coloured shade, very natural and linked to the colours of the earth, immediately lends delicacy and sobriety to the environment. The very nature of the material, in this case homogeneous but delicately shaded, emphasises this aspect. Furthermore, the presence of the same colour on the floor and walls, so light and bright, optically enlarges the spaces, making them appear larger and more airy. In the kitchen, the same colour has also been used for the splashback, above which a long LED strip has been placed to allow optimal illumination of the sink and hob.

Attention to detail

The result is a room with a relaxing atmosphere, emphasised also by the light beam that, inside the shower, descends like a rain of light along the wall illuminating the shelf below. The details have been taken care of so as to achieve a result of great essentiality: door closures, trapdoors and the shower drain have been made flush with the surface, so as to be almost invisible.
